Hello,Welcome to my little aquarium on the web.I'm Krissy, I started doing this about 5 years ago. It all started with 1 simple ad that I posted on a classified site..Things went from there. I have been keeping fish since I was a little kid. Now as an adult with my own home I am able to house and keep more fish.
One of the greater reasons I started doing this was becuase I kept getting emails from people asking what could they do with the fish they had and no longer wanted to keep.I gave them options to choose from. Some of them just chose to bring the fish to Krissy's Freshwater Aquatic Life Sanctuary becuase they didnt have time to mess around with the other options. I am not about collecting all the free fish and aquariums. That is not why I am here. I am here as a last resort for people who just want their fish to go to a good home and not have to worry if they found the best place for them.
I feed flake foods, pellets, frozen brine shrimp and other frozen foods that are very healthly for them.Good Food brings out and promotes growth ,health and color. I happened to have the knowledge and extra space in my home for the tanks that provide the fish their natural habitats. The fish I take in will Never be feeder fish/dinner for other fish. I promise this when I take your fish in. After all they were your pets!
-A home for your finned creatures.

The List of why people donate their fish tanks....
- you do not want to take the time to sell it on Craigslist, backpage or the newspaper.
- you dont have time.
- you dont want strangers coming into your home to look at the tank for sale.
- you really just want it gone, Its taking up to much space.
- your Kids left the aquarium and went away to school or just moved out and dont want it.
- Its just sitting in the other room, garage or in storage taking up space.
- You know that in your heart donating your fish and supplies is a far more better deed then just dumping the items off at a local petshop. (unless you are wanting a store credit)
